Dear Polytechnics!

Due to the epidemiological situation in the country, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the next week (March 30 - April 3) non-working.  Valery Falkov, Minister of Education and Science, signed a vacation order for Russian universities from March 28 to April 5.

To reduce the risk of coronavirus infection, it was decided that TPU students go on vacation from March 28 to April 5.

For TPU employees, the next week (March 30 - April 3) is declared non-working (except for emergency services).

I appeal to you to observe personal safety measures during these days, do not forget

about prevention, and if possible reduce social contacts. Be responsible, take care of yourself and your loved ones!

The TPU administration will inform you about the development of the situation and the measures on the university website. You can ask questions in social networks or call the TPU hotline +7 (3822) 70-50-03

Andrey Yakovlev,

First Vice-Rector of Tomsk Polytechnic University

Since 13.03.2020 and for the period of a complicated epidemiological situation (until further notice), the TPU residence halls are closed for everyone, who does not study at TPU or do not live in university dormitories.

Since 13.03.2020 and until a special instruction, check-in of previously absent residents should be processed only upon presentation of a certificate of the absence of quarantine and contacts with infected (valid for 3 days) from the place of stay and a certificate from the therapist (the TPU Healthcare Center or inter-university hospital) on the state of health.

In the absence of the mentioned certificate from the place of stay, students returning to Tomsk will be settled in the TPU healthcare center for 14 days.

For students, coming from the People's Republic of China, vacations are extended until April 01, 2020.

Due to the mentioned complicated situation, all public events were canceled or postponed indefinitely (including conferences, competitions, championships, olympiads). Detailed information on scientific and public events can be found on the TPU website or the university accounts on social networks.

19.03.2020 - 01.05.2020, TPU employees from the risk group (people over 60 and those with chronic lung diseases, diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease, etc.) have the right to choose remote work.
