General Information

The laboratory develops new hybrid materials, methods and technological equipment to manufacture medical devices for regenerative medicine and cellular products.

In particular, the unit research team develops formation methods of calcium-phosphate and composite coatings on implants (made, including, using additive technologies); bioactive 3D-printed composite materials and 3D printing of biodegradable polymer implants with adjustable structure and porosity; biodegradable scaffolds with predicted physicochemical and immunomodulating properties for tissue-engineering structures using various methods;  surface modification of biodegradable polymer scaffolds by PVD methods by plasma RF, DC magnetron discharge, chemical methods, and radiation methods.
