General Information

The laboratory was founded in 2011 by the initiative of A.R. Mkrtchyan, scientific director of the Institute of Applied Problems of Physics (Armenia) and A.P. Potylitsyn, head of the TPU Department of Applied Physics.

The laboratory main goal is to develop fundamental and applied scientific research in traditional and nuclear energy, alternative energy production technologies that can surpass other analogs.

The research team develops equipment, instruments, methods, technologies in accordance with international standards. In addition, it implements projects for the commercialization of scientific developments and research results, are developing the material scientific and technical base for basic and applied research.

The laboratory possesses advanced equipment and facility, including physical installations, X-ray sources, adaptive elements of X-ray optics using the effects of "full transfer" and "transparency", and a measuring and analytical equipment park.
