General Information

The laboratory was founded in 2001 and is a subdivision of the Heriot-Watt Petroleum Engineering Approved Support Centre.

The laboratory specialists are engaged in trial operation projects, development of technological schemes for petroleum field operation, intensification, justification of operation methods and used equipment.

The unit priority goals include monitoring of oil field operation, implementing projects in the intensification of petroleum production, pilot operation of fields, and others.

The laboratory research team carries out studies aimed at improving petroleum production technologies and training sessions for university students using existing laboratory equipment.
